Valencia Baroque Plissé Ruffle Dress

This dress is all about the print: white ornamental motifs, gold baroque scrolls and bold white chevron bands on a black base. It's made in a stretch plissé fabric, so fine pleats run through the whole dress and break the print into soft ribs of light and shadow. The front is asymmetric, with a scroll motif on one side and a large leaf-and-petal flower on the other. The back is a mirror image, with the chevrons meeting in a sharp V. It pulls on with no fastenings and has a V-neck at the front and the back, wide batwing sleeves finished with pleated ruffle cuffs, and a high-low hem: a short tiered ruffle at the front, and a long pleated flounce that falls behind you at the back.

FIT

Relaxed and roomy through the body, with plenty of movement in the sleeves, and the stretch plissé gives with you as you move. The front hem sits on the upper thigh and the back falls long, so it looks great with heels, or with sheer tights and over-the-knee boots in the colder months.

CARE

100% polyester stretch plissé. Hand wash cold and dry flat or on a hanger. Don't tumble dry or iron, because heat flattens the pleats. To store, twist the dress gently into a coil to keep the pleats sharp, or hang it.
